Feature overview

Everything you need to stay ahead of bad actors.

SilentShadow connects your Discord communities into a shared awareness network, so your staff can see bans and kicks that happen elsewhere before problems land in your server.

Cross server alerting

When a user is banned or kicked in a participating server, staff in your server get a clear contextual alert when that user joins. You see the network history, not just your own.

One pane of glass

Manage all your connected servers from a single dashboard, configure alert channels, default actions and ignore rules without touching individual Discord settings.

Safer staff decisions

Staff see who banned the user, when it happened and why, so they can decide to ignore, kick or ban with context instead of guesswork.

How SilentShadow works behind the scenes

The bot listens for bans and kicks in opted in servers then records them as network events. When a matching user joins another opted in server, the bot posts a rich alert in your chosen channel.

  1. 1

    Event captured

A moderator bans or kicks someone in a server that has opt in alerts enabled. The event is stored securely in the SilentShadow network.

  2. 2

    User joins your server

If that same user joins one of your connected servers, the bot checks their network history and any ignore rules you configured.

  3. 3

    Alert and action

Staff receive an alert that shows previous bans or kicks, reasons and origin servers, plus buttons to ignore, kick or ban directly from the message.

What you get

  • Centralised visibility of problem users across servers.
  • Less time wasted on repeat trolls and throwaway accounts.
  • More consistent staff decisions across your team.
  • No dashboard sprawl, everything in one place.

Opt in alerts

Choose whether this server participates in the network, you control which communities share and receive events.

Alert channel

Set the exact channel where alerts are posted, so moderation staff can keep things organised.

Default action

Decide if flagged joins should only prompt staff, or auto kick or auto ban by default.

Auto ignore modes

Turn alerts off temporarily, or use user defined rules to ignore low risk cases such as failed onboarding.

Category routing

Tag servers by category, for example games, general or niche and let alerts only flow between compatible communities.
